The FK-BV02 is a WiFi-enabled motorized smart water shut off valve that allows you to remotely control your home’s main water supply via the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app. Powered by a Tuya smart chip with 2.4GHz WiFi connectivity, it offers remote on/off control, programmable timer and countdown scheduling, and adjustable valve rotation angle (0–100%). It is a drop-in replacement for standard manual ball valves and works directly with your home WiFi — no hub required.
The FK-BV03 is available in multiple sizes to fit standard residential and light commercial plumbing: DN15 (1/2″), DN20 (3/4″), DN25 (1″), and DN32 (1-1/4″). Thread options include NPT and BSP. Be sure to measure your pipe diameter before ordering.
The valve body is constructed from stainless steel (SS304) combined with high-strength engineering plastics for the actuator housing. The FK-BV02 supports WiFi 2.4GHz only (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n). Most modern dual-band routers broadcast both 2.4GHz and 5GHz signals simultaneously. If your router uses a combined SSID, the app will guide you through the connection. If you experience pairing issues, ensure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz band during setup (most routers allow you to temporarily disable 5GHz in settings).
Yes. The FK-BV02 integrates seamlessly with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant through the Tuya Smart platform. You can open or close the valve using simple voice commands — for example: “Alexa, turn off the water valve” or “Hey Google, set water valve to open.”
Installation is straightforward:
- Turn off your main water supply and release residual pressure by opening a faucet.
- Remove your existing manual ball valve or identify where to install the FK-BV03 inline.
- Mount the FK-BV03 using the included adapter fittings, applying thread tape or sealant.
- Connect the power adapter (DC 5V input).
